Thinksters with the Governor General of Canada

Summary
A team of 7 thinksters had the honour of meeting up with her Excellency during the week of her official state visit in Greece.

We were impressed by her concern on youth engagement. Some of us had also the chance to discuss with 3 deleguates and conclude that the differences between our mentalities are quite clear. We agreed to continue the collaboration we started here in athens by publishing a project on these great differences.

This is a part of the blog that Dimitra posted on the Youth Dialogue's website: "..we also had the opportunity to discuss these issues one-on-one with the Governor General, who listened closely to our concerns, and gave us, inter alia, a very optimistic piece of advice. She actually said: "Don't expect the State to invite you and solve your problems. You have to create open spaces for dialogue, invite the State members, and debate the next step of youth engagement with them."
